What is there to see and do in the area?

The Wheel Inn is situated in the heart of the town of Scone. Famous for Scone Palace. Immersed in history, Scone Palace was the crowning place of many Scottish Kings. The palace also has large woodland gardens, a children's play area and its very own star shaped maze.

Only a couple of miles from the Wheel Inn is Perth Racecourse. Enjoy watching some spectacular horse racing with picturesque views of Perth.

At the Scottish Liqueur Centre you can visit ‘The Tasting Room' and sample all of the delicious whiskies and liqueurs on offer.

Experience all that is beautiful about Perth by taking a stroll through Branklyn Garden, described as the finest private garden in the country. Or why not wander through nearby Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park. With breathtaking views over Perth, Kinnoull features miles of grassy paths and waymarked nature trails through fine mixed woodland. Quarrymill Woodland Park contains nature walks specially developed for disabled visitors.

Marvel at the skill of glass blowing at Caithness Glass Visitor Centre as they turn molten glass into beautiful objects.
